Disclosure: AMAZON AFFILIATE LINKS and Referral links: As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Back in 2015, the Federal Trade Commission released their new rules for Disclosure Compliance. These rules were set in place to ensure that readers or viewers of web media know if the blogger is sponsored, endorsed, or partnered with a different company. In essence, the readers need to know if the blogger is making commissions by sharing a link or product.

In compliance with the FTC guidelines, please assume the following about links and posts on this site: The majority of the links on justicekelly.com are affiliate links from which I receive a small compensation from sales of certain items if they are amazon based, or are links to specified web pages, individuals or companies I may receive compensation from as you click through and check out their pages!

What are affiliate links?
Purchases that are made on external affiliate company websites, like Amazon: -When a reader clicks on a *marked* affiliate link located on justicekelly.com to purchase an item, the reader buys the item from the seller directly (not from justicekelly.com). Amazon and/or other companies pay me a small commission or other compensation for promoting their website or products through their affiliate program.

The prices are exactly the same for you if your purchase is through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link. You will not pay more by clicking through to the link!!!

I use 3 main types of affiliate programs:

1. Amazon affiliate links:
Justicekelly.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon properties including, but not limited to, amazon.com, endless.com, or woot.com, Amazon offers a small commission on products sold through their affiliate links. Each of your purchases via our Amazon affiliation links supports our cause at no additional cost to you.

Amazon, Woot and their logos are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

If a blogger links to an Amazon product (with a special code for affiliates embedded in the link), and a reader places an item in their "shopping cart" through that link within 24 hours of clicking the link, the blogger gets a small percentage of the sale.
***** Amazon links are not “pay per click.” If you click on the product link and stay around Amazon and purchase something else, however, I will get commission on that sale.

Anytime you see a link that looks like www.amazon.com/....(insert product and affiliate code here)
it is an Amazon affiliate link.

2. Product affiliate links:
These affiliate links work the same way: when you click the link and buy the product, then the blog operator gets a percentage of the sale or some other type of compensation. Things like online e-courses, seminars, classes, or service packages are usually affiliate links, also. Remember, prices are not different if you use these affiliate links. You will not pay more by clicking through to the link. These links are not “pay per click.”

3 Service affiliate links:
These links lead directly to a service being purchased or provided, like a log home company, material provider or preparedness supplier that covers things better suited to their wheelhouse. My goal is to take your needs, your desires, your wants for your home, project, or homestead and the lifestyle you seek and work with you to build the physical spaces and environment, get you the "things" that work for your situation, get you the education and training on the lifestyle and do so in a way that provides the best value for you and your family.

I've got folks and companies I've worked with, some for over 25 years. They have good products or services, they stand behind their stuff, and while I am not a direct advertiser for them, I do get advertising funds or a referral. Every year, like it or not, I get a box of caulking from a log home supplier... various colors, new mixes, etc. Some of the firearms courses I link to- yup, they will send me through a class or 2, especially when they try a new offering.

PEQ 15 copy

Low cost IR laser/light combo PEQ15 copy.

I wanted a low cost to entry option for an IR laser, and this was one I tried out. Over 600 rounds of 556, and it still functions flawlessly. The IR and visible are still mated, and while the IR light is not as powerful as other options, for a 75m and under option that is less than $100, I found it very suitable. https://amzn.to/3Fyc31t

RODENTS!!

A caution on vinyl vents

The squirrels chewed through this vent over the weekend... So now it is time to upgrade to an aluminum or steel vent. We chose the Duraflo 621218 Gable Vent, (fh0e1-20) got it from Amazon in 2 days. In the meantime, 5 rodents were trapped and removed.

Replacment Brad nailer tip

Save yourself the headache!!

I hate denting or scratching finished trim. And with how much I hang my nailer off my workbelt, the tips always disappear... SO, let's try these from Amazon: Apex Tool Supply N569446 Replacement for DeWalt no-mar tips (fh0e1-20)

Smoking the brisket

Trying some new Lowry's mixes!

We've butchered the steer, the meat is in the freezer... Took out a brisket, and fired up the smoker (my Amazon prime days deal here ___). But what to use for adding flavor? THIS: Lawry's Cracked Pepper, Garlic & Herb Rub, 24 oz. Amazon Affiliate link here (fh0e1-20)

Ripping your arm off!!!

...or at least destroying your shirt

installing raised rib metal on the interior of a garage, we needed a better solution than hex head fasteners that catch you as you walk by. Solution? We are installing GRK 120660#8 by 2-1/2" White Cabinet Screws. Predrilling, setting until snug on the overlap seam. (fh0e1-20)
